Perrine Dugué was killed by the Chouans in 1796 when she was leading supplies and information to her Republican brothers at Sainte-Suzanne. As soon as he dies, we cry out for a miracle because we have seen his soul rise in the sky in the form of a dove with tricolour wings and people flock to the place of his death. It was with the money raised that the Dugué family built the chapel on a piece of land donated by a farmer in order to bury it worthily a year later. This chapel still belongs to the family.
