Presentation of the project and the architectural project of the future departmental pole of the live show
For just over a year, the Grand T site has been closed for repairs. It will eventually host a future complete equipment serving the entire departmental territory, which will bring together the teams of Music and Dance in Loire-Atlantique and Grand T, and will offer a new space open to the neighborhood, welcoming indistinctly artists and inhabitants.
Thus, when it reopens in spring 25, this new place, carrying multiple uses, will have a room of 850 seats, a second of 350 seats, a dance studio, a studio of sound and video, spaces of mediation and training, a garden and meadows that can accommodate free practices, a restaurant, a bar and a bookshop.
The Department of Loire-Atlantique wanted to integrate a reuse of materials component in this rehabilitation project, which is exceptional in a project of this scope.
