" Die rote Kirche": ein Gebäude im romanisch-byzantinischen Stil, das für das Viertel Breil-Barberie charakteristisch ist! Seine Besichtigung zeigt seinen Bau seit der Grundsteinlegung im Jahr 1935 und seine Geschichte im Viertel. Mehr als 700.000 Ziegel wurden für den Bau benötigt und mangels Finanzierung wurde der Glockenturm um die Hälfte verkleinert. Die Schätze der Kirche werden für diesen Tag ausnahmsweise der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert: liturgisches Erbe (Schweizer Kostüme und priesterliche Kleidung vom Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts), Zugang zu den Glocken und dem Orgelraum, der uns seine Kraft während eines Requiems enthüllen wird...

Plus de 700 000 briques ont été nécessaires à son édification et faute de financement, la taille du clocher a été réduite de moitié. Les trésors de l'église seront exceptionnellement présentés au public pour cette journée : patrimoine liturgique (costumes de suisse et habits sacerdotaux du début du XXème), accès aux cloches et à la chambre de l'orgue qui nous dévoilera sa puissance lors d'un requiem…
