Visit of the Saint-Nazaire church and organ concert
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the church of Saint-Nazaire welcomes the organist Michael Matthes for a meeting with the public and a recital.
Organ concert in a neo-Gothic church
Inaugurated in 1891, the Saint-Nazaire church was built in the neo-Gothic style, very popular at the end of the 19th century.
It contains a rich religious heritage from the old church of the original village, but also interesting post-war stained glass windows.
Following the visit of the church, you are invited to exchange with the organist Michael Matthes. An international concertist, he holds the great organ of the Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois church in Paris, and professor of organ at the Conservatoire à rayonnement départemental de Troyes. This meeting ends with an organ recital.
