Built over four centuries, the church was then heavily restored in the nineteenth century.
The bell tower, destroyed by revolutionaries during the Convention, was restored almost identically after the Second Empire just like the southern chapels of the nave. The chapel of the Souls of Purgatory has preserved the decor signed Léon Alègre, author of the monumental paintings of the nave. The portal is the work of Blaise Lecuyer, architect of that of the Collegiate. Discover this church listed in the Additional Inventory of Historical Monuments in 2012.
