Since 2017, thanks to the archaeological excavations of the former gendarmerie, it is known that the Roman city of Ucetia had rich shopping districts north of the current city. But what about the rest of the ancient city? What clues do we have to understand its limits?

At the foot of the Tourist Office Pays d'Uzès-Pont du Gard in the former Capuchin Chapel, the city inaugurated this new space entirely dedicated to heritage in 2019\. Architectural, historical, archaeological, material or intangible the heritage of Uzès is rich, varied. Many are interested in it, even passionate about it.
This place is dedicated to anyone looking for information about the city’s heritage. A place of exchange and meeting, a place of information, a place to federate all initiatives related to the protection and enhancement of everything that makes Uzès so unique.
