Small village in the west of the Gard, La Cadière-et-Cambo is part of a vast natural territory included in the European Natura 2000 network defining natural sites of ecological interest. The «gorges de l'Hérault» or the «gorges de Rieutord, Fage and Cagnasse» are among these places of interest, such as the «massif du Bois de Monnier», the «montagne de la Fage et gorges du Rieutord» and the «plateau du Taurac» the latter being included in the inventory of natural areas of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest.
