Come and discover the historical and sound evolution of radio, from 1950 to the present day, through an experience of comparative listening to sound archives from the INA, Radio Nîmes, and the possibility of hearing your own voice. The tour includes a historical and technical presentation of the radio «Rayvox», highlighting its specific analog equipment for a webradio, as well as a presentation of different types of microphones. You will also have the opportunity to listen to and compare radio recordings from the second half of the 20th century to the present day. A special installation will allow you to listen to not only archives, but also your own voice through different types of microphones and headphones of various eras. By comparing the various archives and microphones, you will develop a global perception of the evolution of radio sound, its vocabulary and its heritage.
