In anticipation of the future exhibition on the history of sport that will open its doors on the eve of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024, you will discover unpublished documents on sports practices in the Landes.

The building(ship) of archives was built in 2007 by the architect Nathalie Larradet on the site of the old(former) barracks Grove. Dating the 19th century, she(it) was rehabilitated to become the centre of preservation of archives. A surface of 5113 m ², 17 km of shelving. The glassy facade represents the eight centuries of history(story) of the department.
