Free visit of the temporary exhibition: «I eat so I am: consume nature»
After a first part on the socio-cultural issues of food, the departmental museum of faience and tableware continues its partnership with the national museum of natural history, with the continuation of the exhibition «I eat so I am: consume nature».
Today man still draws on natural resources and practices intensive agriculture to feed himself. What are our consumption patterns and food production today? What is on our plate? Faced with an exponential increase in the world’s population, what will we eat tomorrow if the management of our natural resources is not intelligently managed?
Through this new exhibition, consumers, become aware of the fragility of ecosystems long neglected, exhaustible natural resources and in your plate, adopt a more virtuous consumption to continue to enjoy the resources that nature puts at our disposal.
