The vast departmental park of Île Saint-Germain was inaugurated in 1980\. It houses the monumental Tour aux Figures by Jean Dubuffet and includes many gardens: the Garden of Discoveries which allows to learn to recognize the plants and animals of the park, the garden of messicoles dedicated to the flowers of the fields used in the past to put the land to rest, the garden of lavender that delights you with its sweet Mediterranean scents, the unexpected gardens where nature evolves freely away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the previous garden which takes up the theme of the abbey gardens.
