The Military Riding School (EME) is located in the Carroussel district and houses more than five centuries of equestrian and military tradition. The history of this place began in 1515 when François I decided to set up his hunting stables there. Today, it provides training for all military personnel involved in the various trades in the military equestrian industry. It is also the place of initial training and specialization of young horses. This great school also distinguishes itself in the top international horse competitions. Traditional trades are also practiced there such as swamp and saddle. Finally, reconstruction courses are organized for wounded soldiers of the armies, through the horse.
