On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Moulin du Syndicat de l'Yvette opens its doors again to the public, for the happiness of young and old. On Saturday, September 16, visitors can enjoy fun and participatory activities, an educational farm, a photo exhibition on the theme of the fauna and flora of Yvette, discovery workshops and scientific experiments to understand the importance of wetlands and the principle of wastewater filtration. Also on the program this year, immersive visits in our crisis management room, guided and commented tours about the management of the floods of the Yvette and the management of hydraulic structures. They are an opportunity to discover our hydraulic modelling tools and the Union’s missions in flood prevention and management. A stand on the skills and missions of the Union will also be present, accompanied by our interactive model, a new tool that we have created this year and that is already meeting a great success with the schools of the valley. Finally, and always in partnership with the Festival «Les beaux jours» organized by the Communauté d'Agglomération Paris-Saclay, the day will end with the representation of 7 circus girls defying the laws of gravity, with the show INO of the company K-INO-Kollectiv.
