Free visit or accompanied by mediation by students in archaeology, art history and heritage
On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the two sites of the National Institute of Art History, the Colbert gallery, former shopping mall, and the prestigious Labrouste room, library of the National Institute of Art History, designed by the architect Henri Labrouste are accessible by free visit or accompanied by mediation by students in archaeology, art history and heritage. Visitors will be able to discover the little-known history of the Parisian passage that is the Colbert gallery. In the library, the public will admire the spectacular reading room with its ceramics and painted decorations, medallions decorated with gold leaf, monumental caryatids or the pneumatic installed in 1932.
