Drawing with architecture students
Did you know that? The Paris-Malaquais school of architecture is located on the historic site of architecture education, the Beaux-Arts de Paris that both schools have the chance to share. It is an exceptional place, a concentrate of Paris history, art history in general, and architecture in particular. All the buildings are classified as historical monuments.
Come see us during the European Heritage Days on 16 and 17 September and leave with your drawing of this extraordinary site!
Architecture students will propose to visitors of all ages, according to their passage, to practice with them the drawing of architecture, whether for 5 minutes or for ½ hour according to the desires of each one. Drawing is one of the best ways to discover and understand a place.
Find the students in the Chapelle des Petits-Augustins, the Cour du Mûrier and the Cour d'honneur in front of the Palais des études.
All these listed buildings, usually closed to the public, will be open during these two days, to be discovered in free or guided tours, proposed by the School of Fine Arts of Paris (see sheet of Fine Arts of Paris for information on these visits).
