The Town Hall stands on the site of the ancient abbey of Saint Peter. Nothing remains of the early Merovingian monastery. The current buildings were erected between 1755 and 1765, then refurbished. On the ground floor, the vaulted galleries of the cloister enclose the patio. The wedding hall and the party hall date from 1896 and 1936 respectively. With its brick and stone architecture, the building is included in the Supplementary Inventory of Historic Monuments.
