Created in 1983, the Val-d'Oise Archaeological Museum preserves more than 35,000 objects. It exhibits 3,000 of them along a route linking prehistory to contemporary times.
From the carved blocks of the ancient sanctuary of Genainville, rebuilt in the middle of the 2nd century AD, to the concrete statues of the Soviet pavilion erected in Paris in 1937 for the International Exhibition of Arts and Techniques of Modern Life, Recently found in a cooler in the Château de Baillet-en-France, masterpieces abound!
Throughout the year, a rich and varied program allows everyone to discover and learn while having fun: visits, workshops, conferences... The temporary exhibition is suitable for all audiences, even the youngest.
