Église Saint-Hilaire
2 Rue du Pont, 51160 Aÿ-Champagne
This Romanesque-style building with its remarkable stained-glass windows was built in the 11th century on the site of a Merovingian church. Admire the polychrome of its three Gothic columns with Corinthian capitals, or its apse. The many stained glass windows deserve attention, especially those representing the four evangelists or the Pentecost rose above the organ. The building offers other curiosities, such as its Romanesque tower of the 11th century and its gallery of semi-circular arcades, supported by remarkable colonnettes.
