The City of Givet opens the doors of the City Hall to the public.
A guided tour and an exhibition will allow visitors to know the past of this beautiful building and to know the activity of the various administrative services.
Access is free of charge.

The first building was built in 1714\. It was replaced in 1905 because it was less imposing and was already too small to accommodate the municipal administrative services. The current is still located Place Carnot, former Place d'Armes where the taking of arms and honours of the garrison took place. This place could be transformed into a place of commerce. There, has always been, every Friday, the market. A bust of Etienne Nicolas Méhul, child of the city and composer in particular of «Chant du départ», was in the center.
