On the occasion of the creation of the 17th fresco of the fresco itinerary on the poetry of Arthur Rimbaud, discover the few frescoes visible in Mézières. The visit will end in front of the new fresco made behind the Lycée Monge, avenue Tirman. The artist will be present and can exchange with the participants.

Located at the entrance to Mézières, on the way down from Charleville, the Place d'Arches is the link between the elegant 19th century suburbs and the Art Deco district along the Meuse. The rich decorations of the facades combine historical references to the history of the city (here with the statues of the knight Bayard and his grooms) and plant or exotic inspirations typical of the 1920s.
