Visit of the temporary exhibition "Expedition in French Southern Lands"
Free visit of the temporary exhibition of the Museum dedicated to the fauna of the French Southern Lands: Kerguelen, Crozet, Amsterdam... This exhibition, created by the Museum of Tours, highlights the French southern islands.
Largely unknown to the general public, these French possessions located in the southern hemisphere conceal many naturalistic secrets.
Thus, it is a real journey that allows you to discover the fauna (birds and marine mammals) so specific of these overseas territories located south of the Indian Ocean.
Models, photos, educational workshops, videos and naturalized animals allow visitors to better know these islands at the end of the world.
This exhibition is based on the work of the Touraine photographer Hichem Machouk and in partnership with the Prefecture of French Southern and Antarctic Lands (TAAF).
