André Bauchant (1873-1958) is a famous naïve painter born in Château-Renault and author of more than 3,000 works in France, the United States, Germany, Switzerland and Japan. This self-taught artist made himself known through his mythological, historical and religious paintings, portraits, landscapes, flowers, fruits, animals and birds.
Inaugurated in 2010, the gallery benefits from a new layout since 2019 near the entrance of the wooded park of the castle.
