Pierre Cochée

It is a large Neolithic polisher, known as Pierre Cochée. This monolith is a large block of Eocene (first period of the Tertiary era) sandstone embedded in the ground, among many other blocks and powders outcropping around. The stone and other blocks are sheltered under large oaks that give this corner of the earth an aspect of the most mysterious, a real «druidic» site occupying an area of about 100 meters in length by 80 meters in width.
