The Royal Door is the old(former) door of access to the strengthened citadel. Built in the XIIIth century, it was reinforced in the XVth century by the construction of a drawbridge and of a terrace with standard(cannon). She(It) establishes(constitutes) even today the unique(only) access to the high part(party) of the city. The royal Door makes the object of a large construction site(work) of restoration(catering) since 2014.
