Created in 1984 by Jean-Claude Bernardet, the memorial, which now bears his name, contributes to the duty of memory of the Mâconnais and Mâconnaises, but also of all the people of the surrounding region. It allows us to walk through the history of the engagement of our fighters from 1870 to the present day through an impressive profusion of objects and testimonies, for some very touching (nearly 4,000 are presented). A nice visit for young and old to do with family.
