A small film will present the history of the restoration of the last dovecote of Sens. It will be possible to visit the interior of the dovecote and exchange with the owners.

As early as the 15th century, mention was made of the presence in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine of a Benedictine monastery. In the 17th century, the nuns of the Pommeraye settled there after new constructions. The sale of the Biens Nationaux in 1793 mentions a large inner barnyard with a foot dovecote. Purchased in 1852 by Abbé Sicardy, the Abbey of Saint-Antoine-lès-Sens was redeveloped for the installation of the Sisters of Providence who merged with the Sisters of Charity of Nevers in 1959.
