Lantilly Castle and its flower garden, "Remarkable Garden" label
The castle of Lantilly, called "castle with a hundred windows", is only visited during the Heritage Days. He’s been in the family 250 years.
Surrounded by an English-style park, it has some remarkable trees and a splendid view of the Laumes valley and the surrounding countryside.
The flowered vegetable garden, created in 2000 by Claire and Bertrand de Virieu, with Camille Muller, is classified Remarkable Garden.
With a surface of 1 ha, it has the atypical shape of an eye.
Strutctuated by hedges of charms, boxwood and yew, it has several rooms:
- the garden of the greenhouse or aromatic garden,
- the flower garden around the hut,
- the garden of the pool or zen garden,
- in the centre, the vegetable planks where flowers and vegetables mingle.
