Evocation of "Pangea": Center of the World. History of the martyr keep and the old village; marked by the spirit of Resistance for centuries.
The geological heritage, alpine tectonics, the question of Pangea and more generally the landscapes that make up the village environment will be presented. Castrum seigneurial, feudal site, the village of Baume was ravaged during the Albigensian crusade and then destroyed by Louis XIII. An evocation of the village, scattered in this crumbling landscape will allow us to understand the hazards of its history as well as the spirit that animates it.
