We had opened several times in the past our premises at 69 rue de la République for Madame Grignon-Faintrenie’s Fresque and this with great success with hundreds of Lyonnais. The idea, at the time, was to open our premises with guided tours, to visit 2 frescoes made by the City of Creation. The operation was called "hidden assets". Today, we are located in Pavilion 52 on the 5th floor (Rooftop 52) and we want to show our premises (on a guided tour) during Heritage Day in September 2023. We have already done this type of visit (before Covid) during an open house in Confluence (heritage day type). It was still a real success in terms of interest and attendance. During this visit in September 2023, we would also like to organize an exhibition on the life of Confluence through paintings made by Lyonnais volunteer artists. The guided tour of the Rooftop will focus on the construction of the building by architect Rudy RICCIOTTI and the history of the construction of the Confluence district. N.B. As we have done in the past, we can organize visits of approximately 45 minutes each, thanks to two volunteer guides who know the history of Pavilion 52 and Confluence.
