The house of the Borie was built between the thirteenth and the fifteenth century by the family of the Chaslus-Lembron, of the feudal castle of the same name, to make it a noble place of exploitation, relay of their authority on the extent of their lands. Placed on the road leaving from Boudes to go to Rivière l'Evêque via the castle of Letz, the estate consists of a house-tower of noble dwelling, dovecote, barns to taxes, cuvages, and its enclosure, It is a typical example of traditional farming in Lembronnais. Passed into the hands of Thomas Duprat, judge of Issoire and brother of Chancellor Duprat in the 16th century, the fortified house slowly evolved towards a completely winery in the heart of the Boudes vineyard. Slowly forgotten from 1700, it was divided according to the requirements of the time between several owners. Acquired in 2013, a major renovation project for all the buildings has begun.
