Chapelle La Bienheureuse Béatrix
26730 EYMEUX
- Drôme
- Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes
The history and construction of this chapel are linked to the cult of Saint Beatrix d'Ornacieux, a young chartreusine from the monastery of Parménie who came to Eymeux in 1300 to found a new monastery with two companions. Beatrix was beatified in 1869\. The chapel built in 1897 became an annual pilgrimage site.
