The name «Vergnes» comes from another name of alder, a wetland tree that used to be very present here. During this walk, we will meet the non-human inhabitants of the neighborhood: trees, wild flowers that invite themselves on the sidewalks, and small and large animals… And we will trace the history of the neighborhood over the clues they give us.
This walk is proposed by the association Family social club, in partnership with the direction of the culture of the city of Clermont-Ferrand. Meet in front of the Château des Vergnes (tram stop terminus).
