Protestant temple of neo-gothic style built in 1857 on the plans of the Lyons architect Manlius Bailly. The Temple des Terreaux or Temple de la Lanterne is the first temple dedicated specifically to Protestant worship since the 16th century in Lyon. It was rebuilt in 1857 in the neo-gothic style. The organ builder Merklin gave it a beautiful instrument in 1891.
