The historian Chantal Jane Buisson will propose a guided tour to discover the 1st district, from the remains of the convent of the Desert to the most frequented street of Lyon but the least observed; the street of the Republic.
Too often reduced to the district of "Pentes", the 1st houses on its ground buildings, symbols of economic power and Lyon’s political power. We will not visit them but we will trace their stories and evoke the architects who drew up the plans.
We will also discover, among other things, during this route places of leisure of yesteryear.
