The chapel of the Institution des Chartreux in Lyon was built between 1860 and 1864 by Abbé Hyvrier, Superior of the Institution. It is the work of Desjardins, inspired by the Royal Chapel of Vincennes, before the Sainte Chapelle de Paris.The stained-glass windows are by Steindheil and Coffetier de Paris. The Merklin Organ opened in 1864, renovated by Valentin in 1994 and by W.Sauer Orgelbau in 2005.
