Jim Roberts is from the West Coast (Los Angeles) and Jeff Toto Blues is a 100% Auvergnat. Since 2015, after a meeting in a club in Los Angeles, they travel together to share this passion of the Blues. The duo is called «Dobrothersblues». We saw them on the biggest French stages.
A real change of scenery, an exotic trip, in an intimate atmosphere and without borders. Moreover their passages in the Blues festivals (Andel'art en scène, Pluralies de Luxeuil les Bains, Sem le blues, Eden District Blues, Terri'Thouars Blues, Avoine Zone Blues, Blues Availles, La Bonneville du Blues...), at the Maison du Blues, with Joey J Saye, B. B. & The Blues Shacks, Ivy Ford, Grand Corps Malade, Zaz, Roger Hodgson (Supertramp)... and their tour on Highway 61 in Mississippi without forgetting their memorable concert at the Groundzero in Clarksdale (Morgan Freeman Property) are there to attest to their talent and their real authenticity.
Everyone expresses himself with his mother tongue using the ideal instruments of blues such as mandolin, bouzouki, harmonica, dobro and cigar-box.
The duo was finalist of the Challenge France Blues 2021, on September 25 at the Traverse de Cléon.
