Old(Former) Gallo-Roman capital of the people of Helviens, Alba represents the membership of the Gaul in the Roman Empire. Monumental centre and theatre brought out(loosened) by excavations(searches) are visible and reconstructed today, what allows to seize the splendour of what had to be this city about two thousand years ago. The sanctuary of Bagnols, where were found by many archaeological important rooms(parts,plays), is another nerve centre of the city(estate), in the middle of vineyards(vines), which allows to underline all importance of the member of a religious order in everyday life Gallo-Roman.
