Marie-Claude Pietragalla and Julien Derouault have created together the Jeune Théâtre du Corps, composed of artists between the ages of 18 and 25, combining passion, energy and passion. Coming from different backgrounds and formations, these young dancers of the 21st century celebrate a hymn to life, to the rediscovery of their dance heritage.
Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet, Carmen, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, as many dance masterpieces as Marie-Claude Pietragalla and Julien Derouault reinterpret through a contemporary rereading to offer this young generation a mythology in the image of their time.

Arles offers an interesting example of the adaptation of an ancient city to the civilization of medieval Europe. It preserves impressive Roman monuments as well as exceptional antique collections. Inside the walls, Saint-Trophime with its cloister is one of the major monuments of Provençal Romanesque art. Completed around 12 BC, the ancient theatre precedes by a century its illustrious neighbour the amphitheatre. The theatre is built in the heart of the ancient city. Its plundering for centuries to feed yards with materials ends up even forgetting the ancient function that was rediscovered only at the end of the seventeenth century. It has now regained its original function.
