Poetic fresco by Guillaume Bottazzi in the historic district of Martigues
This poetic fresco by Guillaume Bottazzi, in shades of blue, marks the entrance of the city by boat. It is located on the seafront, in the heart of the historic center of Martigues, which has the label «City of art and history».
It was in 2018, in the Ile de l'Île district, that the artist made this painting of 10 meters high that marks the entrance of the city by boat.
Painted in oil with shades of blue, the work was received with astonishment and enthusiasm in the region. This abstract creation aroused the imagination of local residents who, unfamiliar with abstract art, sought to find a representation.
