Afternoon open house at the Chapel of Peipin
Despite the vicissitudes of the moment (Covid, drought), the Peipin Chapel continues its route and offers you a moment of discovery and exchange in the heart of Provence for these last days of summer!
The chapel of Peipin was saved from destruction at the end of the 19th century, thanks to the Marquise Blanche de Castellane, who bought all the buildings that were gradually dismantled. Since the 1960s, thanks to the joint efforts of Francine and Herbert Marcovich, see https://lachapellepeipin.com/une-longue-et-belle-aventure/ la Chapelle has undergone numerous renovations, to become since 2018, a place of culture and encounters with growing influence. Due to the risk of fire due to drought, the 2022 BaLlades season was suspended as of August 2022. The chapel of Peipin will open its doors as every year on the occasion of the European Heritage Days.... a great opportunity to discover these historic places that are part of the continuity and a lasting matrimoine heritage. Open free Sunday 18 September from 1pm to 6pm. A playful walk in a preserved place despite weeks of intense drought!
