The castle and its keep stand on a square platform, surrounded by moats masonry water. The castle is preceded by a forecourt surrounded by the commons, including a dovecote leaning against the large building of servitudes with hull framework of overturned boat. At the back hides a renaissance garden (rigging gardens, vegetable garden and fruit), and a large pond with labyrinth island.
