The History Gallery of the museum traces, through a scientific approach, the great hours of Cholet and its region by evoking mainly the Wars of Vendée (1793-1832).
Archival documents, archaeological objects, weapons, monumental paintings and sculptures illustrate these rich events.
The thematic tour focuses on the period of the First Vendée War (1793-1796) and evokes the episodes of the 19th century: 1815 and 1832.
