guided tour historic monument
In Anjou, between the Loire valley and the slopes of the Baugeois, in the small village of Cornillé-les-Caves, the Masselière is a bourgeois residence anchored in its lands. Listed as a Historic Monument, it celebrates the bicentenary of its construction in 2022. The Masselière estate, composed of wood, arable land and wetlands, has been inhabited and managed for more than four hundred years by the same family. It has long associated an urban bourgeoisie with the land, the farmers who farmed it and a village of which it is a significant component. Guided tour and history of the house, its outbuildings and agricultural estate, conference and film. Issues and perspectives for a sustainable development of the territory.
