This work is being carried out as part of the future road bypass of Machecoul. Exploring a land of more than seven hectares, the site has made it possible to highlight a human occupation dating from the Gallic era but also from the Middle Ages.
Come visit the site with the archaeologists who have been involved in its excavation since March 2022. You will discover the remains uncovered but also the working techniques of these experts.
