Having listed(classified) 4th big(great) mosque of France, she(it) was inaugurated on the 17/11/12 by Mr Auxiette, president of the Region of the Pays-de-la-Loire, the prefect of Loire-Atlantique and the mayor of Nantes. On an area of floor of 2900 m2, this establishment can receive 1200 believers(regular customers). L' Western Islamic Association of France, AIOF, manages this set(group) in any property. Having located at the heart of the park of Roche in Nantes, the mosque is very often visited by associative groups or by schoolchildren and high school students. During JEP, she welcomed very numerous visitors who demonstrated their satisfaction. By its opening to all citizens, the mosque contributes to reinforce the links of friendship and of brotherhood among all French fellow citizens.
