Visit of the Garden, collective eco-place
The Garden project highlights a historic site of Saint-Nazaire. This atypical building of 800 m², located in the hypercentre and resulting from the reconstruction, is dedicated to the creation since its beginnings in 1954. It originally belonged to contemporary furniture designers, and today is an ecosystem dedicated to creation and sharing, developed by four Nazairians.
The public is invited to discover the place and its history through an exhibition, guided by two of the Garden’s creative associates: Violaine Roy and Jérémy Gabard.
The exhibition presents a series of historical drawings, entrusted by the Herveau-Brisson family, formerly owner of this building.
These images reflect the Herveau-Brisson company’s interior design and interior design activities (apartments, companies, stores etc...). They reflect an undeniable know-how in the field, down to the smallest details, as well as the daily life of an era.
