Work of Évron’s sculpture workshop - moderator: Rachel Launay
Open doors of the Petit Gohard mill (wheel room) and exhibition of sculptures in the old pile room of Rachel Launay’s workshop. Exceptionally, for the European Heritage Days, the Petit-Gohard, one of the 17 mills on 22 remaining in Sainte-Suzanne opens its door. You will be able to admire the paddle wheel launched in 2013 in the room of the wheel, today entrance of the mill and admire an exhibition of sculptures of the workshop of Evron in the old room of the piles where the paper was made for the industry of the playing card, after making flour and before making tan for the skins. It should be noted that the Petit-Gohard mill has been mentioned since 1408 and that it closed permanently as a mill in 1930, then after a long abandonment that led it to ruin it is being restored.
