MHT

The MHT, the CHT and the Maison Fumetti worked for several months with middle school students in the agglomeration as part of the educational project «Women in Industries, a Long Fight». During the workshop, the students were able to work on archival documents tracing the history and place of women in the industries of the Nantes region since the 1900s. They then produced revandicative posters on this long unknown history! Come and discover their work!

The site of the Shipyards, a walking area inaugurated in 2009, is located on the site of the former shipbuilding yards which closed in 1987\. This territory, steeped in history, is home to a rich port heritage. Preserved and restored, these traces of the past mark the landscape in an emblematic way. The MHT’s mission is to safeguard and enhance the maritime and river heritage and to bring to life the know-how and savoir-vivre specific to Nantes shipyards.
