The Micro-Foundation is a digital museum located in the former Chapelle de l'Hôpital in rue Daniel et Gastineau in Châteaubriant. This connected space is an equipment of the city of Châteaubriant, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, allows all audiences to digitally access thousands of works from 12 national museums.

Located in a former chapel restored in 2021, the Châteaubriant Micro-Foundation is a digital museum in which the masterpieces of numerous national and international museums such as the Louvre are distributed in very high definition, the Palace of Versailles and the Musée d'Orsay. The Micro-Fund also hosts a virtual reality space (headsets available to the public) and offers a selection of immersive cultural content.
Throughout the year, exhibitions, shows, concerts and workshops are organized to animate this unique place.
