Come and discover the Neanderthal exhibition, a Season in New Aquitaine, the exhibition-event of the Pole of interpretation of prehistory. A unique adaptation of the original exhibition designed by the National Museum of Natural History, site of the Museum of Man, in partnership with the National Institute of Preventive Archaeological Research.
You will live a plurality of experiences: from immersion in a reconstituted environment to emotion in front of reproductions of original fossils, by going through the astonishment before unexpected representations and the questions about his disappearance and his place in our genealogical tree.
Playful devices and multimedia make scientific content accessible to all. An interactive laboratory space, the NéanderLab, has been designed to allow you to try out the interpretation of Neanderthal archaeological remains.
